F100 Fuel Injected Truck
This 1977 Ford F-100 sits on a 2007 Crown Victoria chassis. This concept gave the truck a great, low stance and also a much more comfortable ride. The Police Interceptor Crown Vic's all had a very heavy duty suspension and with some minor modifications, it fit the truck perfectly. The F-100 is also powered by the 4.6L V8 from the Crown Victoria and the 4 speed Automatic Transmission. Once the body was body was fitted to the Crown Victoria chassis, it was pulled back off and underwent a transformation to update the look. The bed was customized to give more room for the tires giving the truck a much more "Pro-Touring" look, especially with the lower stance. The exterior was finished in a beautiful Diamond White paint. The Interior was finished with a White & Grey Leather on the seat, door panels and carpet. The Tilt Steering column from the Crown Victoria was also retained and used in this build. Vintage Air was installed, along with a Push Button Start. A Touch Screen DVD/CD player with back up cam is mounted in the dash. Other options include Power Assisted Rack and Pinion Steering, Independent Front Suspension, 4 Wheel Disc Brakes, and Limited Slip Rear End. A new Ron Francis Custom Built Telorvek CV-05 Wiring Harness was professionally installed for the Engine and Transmission along with a new Ron Francis 21 Circuit Body Harness to assure all systems continue performing as designed. New Weather Stripping was installed at the Door Openings and around all glass Including the New Windshield. Over 800 hours were put into building this custom F100. It is set up to drive and enjoy!
